Ingredients
  

  • 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped Kalamata olives
  • 2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Process until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Add the olives and pine nuts and pulse a few times to incorporate.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
  • Serve with pita bread, vegetables, or crackers.
