How to Make Vegan Peach Galette

Vegan Peach Galette
Ingredients
- 2 cups pastry flour
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 stick vegan butter
- 4 fresh peaches
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400° F.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, salt, and butter together until well blended.
- Divide the dough into two portions. With a rolling pin, flatten out the dough.
- Slice peaches and put inside a separate bowl. Mix in sugar and cornstarch and stir together until fruit is covered.
- Add peaches to the center of the dough. Roll up the sides of the dough in towards the center.
- Using a small pan, melt the vegan butter on the stove. Brush the edges with the butter and sprinkle sugar onto the crust.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
