How to Make Triple Berry Smoothie (Vegan!)
To make a delicious Vegan Triple Berry Smoothie, start by preparing the ingredients. If using fresh berries, wash them thoroughly. Hull the strawberries if necessary, then core and chop the apple into small pieces. Peel and segment the mandarin, and pit and chop the dates. Next, add the blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, apple, mandarin, and dates to your blender, along with the hemp seeds and ground flaxseed.
Pour in the plant-based milk. If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add up to ½ cup of water. For an extra cold smoothie, add the ice cubes. Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is smooth. This may take about 1-2 minutes, depending on your blender’s power.
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if needed. You can add more dates or a drizzle of maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. For an extra touch, you can garnish with a few fresh berries or a sprinkle of hemp seeds on top.
