These Peanut Butter Oatmeal Energy Bites are a no-bake, delicious, and nutritious snack packed with fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Energy Bites Tray

I’ve been wanting to make some kind of healthy “bites” for a quick breakfast or snack, and I was so happy with how well these turned out. It should only take about 15 minutes to prep these, then at least 30 minutes of cooling time in the fridge. They are incredibly nutritious, tasty, and easy to make!

How to Make Peanut Butter Oatmeal Energy Bites

Start by gathering your ingredients: rolled oats, creamy peanut butter, raisins, mini chocolate chips, hemp seeds, pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a large bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, raisins, chocolate chips, hemp seeds, and pecans. Stir everything together until it’s well mixed. Pour in the maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Mix everything until it’s evenly combined and starts to hold its shape. If it feels too dry, add a little more maple syrup.

Now it’s time to roll! Use a teaspoon or your hands to shape the mixture into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Pop the baking sheet into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the bites are firm.

Once they’re chilled, your energy bites are ready to enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

    Tips:

    • For a nut-free version, omit the pecans and hemp seeds.
    • Substitute other dried fruits or nuts for the raisins and pecans.
    • Use date syrup or agave nectar instead of maple syrup for a refined sugar-free option.
    • Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
